New “COME AS YOU ARE” Service

Begins Sunday, September 17th!

Plans for a third Sunday service are being received with great enthusiasm.  A third Sunday worship service that is very different in form from Trinity’s 8 and 10 a.m. services begins on Sunday September 17 at 5 p.m.
The third service is part of Trinity’s strategic plan and is being added so that we might:

V  Respond to hectic busy schedules of our members and people in the community by providing an alternate worship time to Sunday mornings V  Provide a less formal more interactive style of worship V  Reach out to young adults in our area V  Have a venue for more contemporary music

The service will be held in the parish hall so that seating will allow for more interaction and intimacy.  The plan is to have only a Gospel reading that will then be discussed rather than only listening to a sermon.  Communion will be celebrated using forms from “Enriching Our Worship” an alternate prayer book for the Episcopal Church.
