Begin with a tour of facility and overview of mission of SSMLS. Assist children in selecting books. Spend one on one time with kids reading and/or talking. All four units will come individually in half hour blocks |

Adults who love children and would like to spend time with them. Volunteers need to register in advance so that nametags can be prepared. Register on line

| Why |
Compassion for children and education were important to Dr. King. One on One time is precious to these kids especially on a holiday when many of their peers will get to go home. |
