(1)  The floor in the area was about 30 years old and in very poor shape. 

(2)  The first task was to remove the old flooring.

(3)  We quickly learned that the 30 year old glue job was rather good! The old flooring required the use of 3 steam irons and a lot of hard work! 

(4)   After six hours work by a six man crew, we finally had the old floor removed! 

(5)   The new tiles were laid. Many required complex cuts.

(6) As the job neared completion, the hard work paid off, bringing the rectory kitchen into the 21st century!
