Trinity’s Outreach Programs

OUTREACH  (Full Brochure)
Trinity Church is committed to loving our neighbors as ourselves. Our Seasons of the Spirit children’s and youth formation curriculum emphasizes outreach and we offer many ways for members to serve Christ in all people.
We have established relationships with agencies that offer opportunities to serve locally, regionally, and at great distances.
In addition to organized programs, each Baptized person “represent(s) Christ and his Church; bear(s) witness to him wherever they may be; and according to the gifts given them, carr(ies) on Christ’s work of reconciliation in the world …” -The Catechism
Outreach is more than doing good works, Christians do good works as a response to God’s love made known to us in Jesus Christ.

Community Cupboard

The Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard has been one of the largest providers of food, clothing, furniture and household items to the less fortunate of eastern Montgomery County for the past 25 years. The Cupboard helps these individuals and families in their time of need. The Cupboard primarily exists on the generosity of individuals, churches, service organizations, government subsidies, small companies and large organizations. Without this generosity many people in our area, both young and old, would go hungry.

For more information on donating food, clothing, furniture or other household items please call 215-628-3002. Please consider sending a tax-deductible contribution to “Community Cupboard”. You can find them at 150 North Main Street, Ambler, PA 19002. Neighbors helping neighbors. THANK YOU!

There are currently three teams of men that gather once a month to prepare frozen meals to be delivered to homebound persons, through Episcopal Community Services, to people in Philadelphia. A weekday driver delivers the meals to the ECS distribution location.
  • Do you have the urge to cook on a 20,000 BTU burner?
  • Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the house for a few hours?
  • Do you ever walk into the kitchen and forget what you are looking for?

If you answered yes to any or none of the above questions then you already have what it takes to join the Real Men Cook group. Several groups of 4 to 5 people meet monthly to prepare 50 delicious meals for the homebound. The meals that we provide will be, for many, their only source of good nutrition.

If you are interested in joining this worthwhile and Fun activity please contact Bill Davis. We hope to see you soon !
