Day 1: (Page 1 of 3) We arrived at Phila airport to find much to our surprise that our planes were delayed. However, we did look good in our yellow t-shirts, with the orange on the back. Despite Air tran's best efforts, we made it to Fla. The flight had great cookies. At 1:30 AM at St. John's Church in St., James on Pine Island. ST. Francis was holding the key for us, since the Vicar had gone to bed. When we entered the building we were greeted by several native creatures including frogs lizards and crabs. When we got up the next Am (Saturday) Mike was able to go back behind the Church to photograph the damage done to the trees. After a late breakfast we went to Sandoval
Island and played in the Golf of Mexico. After that, we came back and played in the town pool and got much needed showers. Then we had a wonderful pizza supper supplied by St. John's parishioners. |
