We painted all day today.  We worked on the house and garage for a couple who are struggling because he recently suffered a stroke.  Tomorrow we will go back and put a second coat on the garage, clean the gutters, paint the windows and the back porch.  The woman was so appreciative she gave us several dozen eggs from her hen house, so we are having eggs and sausage for breakfast tomorrow instead of cold cereal!  On the way back we stopped at the tunnel John Henry allegedly dug.  They are making a John Henry park there.  Tomorrow they are going to celebrate John Henry Days.  We may go tomorrow night to hear the bluegrass band.  We also stopped by the dam they are turning into a hydroelectric plant and the Church welcoming Brandon – well not our Brandon but he thought they meant him!  Tonight we have a local folk singer coming to visit and perhaps a rematch on the volleyball court.
